High (& Low) Voltage Operational Safety (Refresher)

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will possess knowledge of current Safety Legislation for HV & LV generation and networks. They will understand safety and access requirements for HV substations & switchrooms, be aware of switchgear designs and ratings, and know how to produce switching schedules for safe HV & LV system operation. Additionally, they will gain practical switching experience through Bespoke and Open courses.

Assessment

The refresher is recommended every 3-5 years after the applicants have completed The full ‘High Voltage Operational Safety’ course.
