High Voltage Operational Safety (Refresher)

Objectives

This 2-day training course is designed for individuals who work on or around high-voltage systems and have previously completed a 5-day High Voltage Operational Safety course.

An optional third day is available for participants who wish to undertake a practical cable works exercise. During this session, you will assume the role of the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) and plan a cable jointing operation. This hands-on experience includes cable identification, spiking procedures, confirming cable colours, and carrying out pressure testing.

This course can either be delivered at our venues or your facility.

Entry Requirements

Successfully completed the full High Voltage Operational Safety course, certification will be requested upon course requests.

Assessment

The refresher is recommended every 3-5 years after the applicants have completed The full ‘High Voltage Operational Safety’ course.
