High (& Low) Voltage Operational Safety
Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will understand current Safety Legislation for HV generation and networks, switchgear designs, and operational duties.
They'll grasp safety and access requirements for HV substations & switchrooms and learn to prepare and execute switching schedules safely.
Practical experience operating HV switchgear during 'Bespoke' courses will be supplemented with discussions on various HV operational scenarios. They'll also learn to complete safety documents, appreciate testing methods for HV equipment, and understand basic protection requirements for HV systems.
This course can either be delivered at our venues or your facility.

The course is followed by an multi-choice assessment paper on the last day of the course
