High Voltage Operational Safety
Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will understand current Safety Legislation for the control and operation of HV networks, switchgear designs, and operational duties.
They'll grasp safety and access requirements for HV substations & switchrooms and learn to prepare and execute switching schedules safely.
Further safety measures covered include practical training, operating HV switchgears. They'll also learn to complete safety documents, appreciate testing methods for HV equipment, and understand basic protection requirements for HV systems.
This course can either be delivered at our venues or your facility.

Anyone being considered for HV authorisation.
Assessment
The course concludes with a multi-choice assessment paper on the final day, designed to assess the knowledge acquired.
