Combined Cycle Power Plant Operators

Part 2

Objectives

This training programme is the second part of the Combined Cycle Power Plant Operation course and is designed to build upon the knowledge gained in Part 1. It provides operational and technical personnel with a working knowledge and practical understanding of the design, construction, and operational principles of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) and the production of superheated steam within a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.

For a complete understanding of Combined Cycle Power Plant operation, learners are expected to complete both Part 1 and Part 2 of the programme.

This course can either be delivered at our venues or your facility.

Entry Requirements
Entrants should have a basic understanding of plant operations, terminology, and plant geography. A minimum of 12 months' operational experience is recommended, or successful completion of the Introduction to Combined Cycle Power Plant Operator course, evidenced by a Certificate of Attendance.

Please note that Combined Cycle Power Plant Operation is delivered across Part 1 and Part 2. To gain a comprehensive understanding of Combined Cycle Power Plant operation and be awarded the full Certificate of Attendance, learners are required to successfully complete both Parts.

Assessment
Formal assessment on the last day of the course consisting of two 100 question multi-choice papers.
