By the End of This Course Learners Will:

operation of High Voltage systems and a knowledge of the systems of work to comply.Have knowledge of behavioural factors affecting electrical work
Understand the process and procedures when entering High Voltage substations.
Be aware of switchgear designs and their ratings.
Understand the considerations when planning HV work and the steps necessary
to create safe work zonesUnderstand the need for electrical safety rules and the basic structure of the rules.
Carry out preparation of switching schedules as part of exercises, for a given scenario.
Understand how safety documents are used to control work on an electrical network.
Understand the importance of correct cable identification and testing procedures to be
undertaken when installing new, or making changes to existing infrastructure.
